Auberge au Bœuf: the charm of authenticity

Since 1893, theAuberge au Bœuf has embodied the family heritage of the Germain family, now run by Yannick Germain, Michelin-starred in 2015. Taking up the torch from his grandfather Wolfgang Sautter in 1998, alongside his mother Christiane, he perpetuates the values of a warm welcome, benevolence and respect for tradition in a cosy, wooded setting.

The inn celebrates the historic idyll between Goethe and Frédérique Brion, preserving the romantic soul of the place while subtly integrating modernity. Yannick is guiding the restaurant towards a gentle evolution, combining contemporary aesthetics with Alsatian culinary traditions. Each visit promises a passionate encounter with a close-knit family dedicated to excellence and authenticity.
